Manchester Derby

Manchester City set a new club attendance record this weekend. 44,259 fans were at the Etihad to watch the Manchester Derby.

Manchester United took the lead in the 27' minute thanks to a Leah Galton goal. United would go into half time leading 1-0. Laura Coombs scored in the 58' minute for City to tie the game up 1-1. The game would end in a 1-1 draw. Chelsea and Arsenal will be happy with that result because it gives them both a little more separation at the top of the table.

The game was pretty close in terms of stats. City had 13 shots while United had 15. City had 5 shots on target while United had 4 shots on target. City had 54% of the possession while United had 46%. City had a pass accuracy of 81% and United had a pass accuracy of 83%.

United sits third in the table with 22 points. City is in fourth will 19 points.

Lyon vs PSG

The two top teams in France went head to head this weekend. The top spot in the standings was on the line.

PSG would come out on top winning 1-0. Diani scored in the 87' minute to win it for PSG. PSG was able to dominate possession having it 63% of the time. Even with PSG having a lot more possession, Lyon took 20 shots compared to 7 PSG shots. Out of Lyon's 20 shots only 4 were on target. 3 out of the 7 PSG shots were on target.

PSG now has 29 points on the season while Lyon has 28.
