EUROS (July 6- July 31)

It's Home! England defeated Germany 2-1 in the finals and are European Champions! Ella Toone got things started in the 62' minute when she chipped the keeper after Keira Walsh played her a brilliant ball. Germany really started to put the pressure on which led to a Lina Magull goal in the 79' minute. The game headed to over-time where Germany looked more likely to win in the first 15 minutes but Chloe Kelly came to the rescue for England in the 110' minute. She had an epic celebration.

Copa America Femenina (July 8-29)

Brazil are Copa América champions for the 8th time! They beat Colombia 1-0 thanks to a Debinha goal. She was able to convert a PK in the 39' minute. Even though Brazil had more possession, Colombia took more shots and had more shots on goal than Brazil.

With the win, Brazil will now play England in the inaugural women's Finalissima later this year.
