Happy Monday! Jess Fishlock and Bethany Balcer put on a show in Seattle Friday night while Kansas City brought the heat to Houston. Three International tournaments will be going on this week as the summer of women's soccer has officially begun.

Weekend Results:

- Houston Dash 1-2 Kansas City - Lo'eau LaBonta scored a pk in the 43' minute after Shea Groom was called for a handball in the box. KC came out firing in the second half as Hallie Mace scored in the 46' minute to go up 0-2. Elizabeth Ball had an own goal in the 90+10' minute to make the score 1-2. Kansas City is now undefeated in their last 5 matches.

- OL Reign 2-0 NC Courage - It was the Jess Fishlock and Bethany Balcer show in the 2-0 OL Reign win. Fishlock got the scoring going in the 52' minute on an assist from Balcer. Fishlock then returned the favor in the 74' minute when she provided the assist for a Balcer goal. Kim Little made her return to the NWSL starting the game for OL Reign.

- Angel City 1-1 Portland Thorns - NWSL after dark delivered once again. LA went up 1-0 after getting a PK in the 2' minute. Savannah McCaskill had her pk attempt stopped by Hogan but was able to convert the rebound. 94 minutes later Yazmeen Ryan tied the game by scoring for Portland in the 90+6' minute.

- Gotham FC 0-3 Chicago Red Stars - Gotham continues to struggle halfway through the season. After a strong opening 10 minutes the rest of the first half belonged to Chicago. Sarah Luebbert got the scoring started in the 16' minute after a brilliant run down the flank from Tatumn Milazzo. Vanessa DiBernardo got her first goal of the season in the 25' minute. Ella Stevens put the game out of reach when she scored in the 84' minute.

- San Diego Wave 2-1 Washington Spirit - San Diego continue to impress and stay top of the table. Two first half goals were enough to get the job done. Goals came from Makenzy Doniak and Belle Briede. Jordan Baggett scored for Washington in the 90+3' minute.

- Orlando Pride 2-2 Racing Louisville : The first ever Daytona Soccer Fest delivered. Louisville went ahead 1-0 in the 34' minute thanks to an Emina Ekic goal. Six minutes into the second half Savannah DeMelo scored a fantastic free kick to put Louisville up 2-0. Darian Jenkins came up big for Orlando in the second half. She had the assist to Kylie Strom for the first goal and then scored the second goal. The second goal was brilliant by Darian Jenkins from start to finish.

News:

- OL Reign had their second biggest crowd in club history with 7,519 people in attendance. It's their biggest crowd if you exclude the doubleheader game they had with the Seattle Sounders last season.

- Gina Lewandoswki of Gotham FC played her last ever professional game. She had a great career in Germany before moving back to America and playing for Sky Blue/Gotham FC the last 3 years. - Orlando Pride and Racing Louisville played in the first ever Daytona Soccer Fest. The game was played inside of the Daytona 500 track in front of 7,573 fans. The Soccer Fest included a live performance from Chance the Rapper before the game and fireworks after the game.

Africa Women Cup of Nations

- Morocco 1-0 Burkina Faso : Morocco defeated Burkina Faso in the opening round of the tournament thanks to a goal from Ghizlane Chebbak in the 29' minute. Morocco dominated the game with 16% more possession and 4 more shots on goal than Burkina Faso.

-Senegal 2-0 Uganda : Ndeye Awa Diakhaté got things going in the the 39' minute on a PK. Nguenar Ndiaye put Senegal up 2-0 in the 50' minute. Uganda won the possession battle and had more shots on target but just couldn't find the back of the net.

-Cameroon 0-0 Zambia : Cameroon and Zambia delivered the first tie of the tournament. Cameroon had 60% of the possession compared to Zambia having 40%. Zambia had more shots but both teams only had 2 shots on target.

-Tunisia 4-1 Togo : Tunisia had things going right from the beginning... scoring in the 1' minute thanks to Mariem Houij. Sabrine Ellouzi had a brace scoring in both the 12' minute and 60' minute. The third goal from Tunisia came from a fantastic set piece. Togo had an own goal in the 71' minute to put Tunisia up 4-1. Togo's lone goal came in the 22' minute when Odette Gnintegma converted a PK.

-Nigeria vs South Africa takes place today at 1 PM ET and can be watched on beIN Sports.

-Burundi vs Botswana takes place today at 4 PM ET and can also be watched on beIN Sports.

CONCACAF W Championship Starts Tonight!

Group A kicks things off tonight in the CONCACAF W Championship. The United States will take on Haiti at 7 PM ET. Mexico and Jamaica will play after that starting at 10 PM ET. Both games can be seen on Paramount+. Group A will play again on Thursday night. The matchups will be Jamaica vs the United States at 7 PM ET and Haiti vs Mexico at 10 PM ET.

Group B will play Tuesday night and those games can also be seen on Paramount+. Costa Rica will face Panama at 7 PM ET while Canada plays Trinidad and Tobago at 10 PM ET. Group B will play again on Friday night. Trinidad and Tobago will face Costa Rica at 7 PM ET while Panama will take on Canada at 10 PM ET.

THE EUROS ARE HERE!!

The Euros start this week and we have a feeling the group stage is going to deliver. The tournament begins on Wednesday when England takes on Austria at 3 PM ET on ESPN2/ESPNU. Norway and N.Ireland will play Thursday at 3 PM ET on ESPN 2.
