Liga MX Femenil is back and it has already delivered. Five games have been played and four more will be played today to complete the first week of the season. 18 goals have already been scored and most of them were absolute bangers.

USWNT January Camp

The USWNT is back in camp starting this week. They will play New Zealand in New Zealand! They will play on the 17th and 20th.

Lynn Williams, Midge Purce, and Emily Sonnett are back on the roster. Sophia Smith and Megan Rapinoe are not on the roster due to injuries. Vlatko Andonovski said that Smith will be ready for the SheBelieves Cup in February!

Two Club Legends Leave

Jordan Nobbs has left Arsenal after 12 years. She signed an 18-month deal with an option to extend with Aston Villa. Nobbs leaves Arsenal as an absolute legend. It was a move she needed to make in order to get more playing time and have a shot at going to the World Cup this Summer. Here are her numbers with Arsenal:

Bethany England has left Chelsea after 7 years. She is headed to Tottenham. England is still a top striker but just wasn't able to get big minutes anymore at Chelsea. Water Cooler Talk

  • Angel City acquire Yazmeen Ryan from the Thorns in exchange for $200,000 and draft picks. ACFC then sent Ryan's rights and $250,000 to Gotham FC in exchange for the number 1 draft pick in the 2023 draft. Gotham Sent $350,000 and a 2024 fourth-round draft pick to Orlando in exchange for the number 2 pick in the 2023 draft.

  • Bri Visalli and Zoe Morse both leave the NWSL and have signed with Brighton.

  • Arsenal signed both Victoria Pelova and Kathrine Kühl.

  • Therese Sessy Åsland is headed to Spain. She signed a contract with Madrid CCF.

  • Michaela Specht is headed back to Hoffenheim. She left Hoffenheim in the summer of 2022 to join Real Sociedad. Her new contract with Hoffenheim is until 2024.

  • Brianna Pinto is staying with the Courage through 2025.

  • Chanté Dompig signed with AC Milan until 2025.

  • Casey Murphy re-signed with the Courage until 2025.

  • Lucy Staniforth signs an 18-month contract will Aston Villa. She spent that last 2.5 years at Manchester United.

  • Debinha signs with the Kansas City Current!! A MAJOR signing for the Current. Multiple NWSL teams and teams in Europe were after the star.
